An Unwanted Truth

The Fractal Continuum plays host to both technological marvels and chimerical horrors conceived through the unparalleled ingenuity of the Allagans. And while its facilities have remained dormant since a recent endeavor to salvage materials, Garlond Ironworks has detected a peculiar energy signature emanating from within. Few would dare even ponder what monstrosities yet stir within, but the Warrior of Light need not wonder. The Ironworks has beseeched their aid to investigate the resurgence of activity within the ancient Allagan museum.

Bosses

Motherbit

During the battle, the boss will use multiple attacks with different patterns and effects. The first attack, called Electrochemical Transfer, involves the reactivation of the bits that form a pattern and launches linear AoEs towards the tank. It is important to move out of the damage zones when they appear to avoid taking damage. Another attack, Allagan Gravity, creates a circle AoE and leaves behind a puddle that can pull you in if you get too close. Lastly, the boss will use Citadel Buster, where the bits line up in the center of the arena, facing one direction. To avoid sustaining massive damage and being knocked back, it is crucial to quickly get behind the bits.

The Ultima Warrior

The encounter includes several abilities that players need to be aware of. The Atherplasm ability is a tankbuster that also damages the area around the tank. The Citadel Buster targets a random player. Ceruleum Vent inflicts group-wide damage and knocks back players. Primordial Aether allows the boss to channel power from a Primal Statue and gain special abilities. If the boss is Zurvan, players affected by fire or ice need to stand in the appropriate marker, for example, Fire > Fire Ice > Ice. Mass Aetheroplasm causes stack damage on the entire group. Lastly, if the boss is Sophia, players need to stack Black and White markers together.

The Ultima Beast

In this encounter, the boss has several abilities that players need to be aware of. Firstly, there is "Death Spin," which hits anyone in melee range, so it's important to keep a clear distance. "Aether Bend" hits anyone who is not inside the boss's hitbox, so players should stand on the boss to avoid this attack. "Flare Star" drops fire puddles that cause proximity-based damage, so it's crucial to stay away from them. "Allagan Gravity" requires players to spread out from each other and move away from gravity puddles after they appear. "Light Pillar" is an expanding area of effect attack that moves across the platform, so players must dodge it as it approaches. The boss also summons additional creatures with "Forborn Beast," which adds damage up buffs on the boss. "Allagen Flare" targets the tank, so they should move away to reduce the damage taken. Finally, there is an enrage ability called "Enrage" that slowly charges up and must be defeated before it goes off.
